My brave brother

Where have the last 3 weeks gone? Was my last post really that long ago? Well, since then I've hosted out of town guests and made a trip to the motherland to have a sisters weekend. Before my sisters weekend, my brave brother and his saint of a wife flew in from El Paso to visit. With their three girls... from El Paso... with three kids, and two layovers. I know what you're thinking.... three kids and two layovers, they must really love us! That's what I tell myself anyway.

Unfortunately, the forecast decided to play nasty, evil tricks on us and gave us 40 degree temps with wind and rain when the average for this time of year should be 65! RUDE... Right? The temperature in El Paso was 80 when they were here. Good thing they love us.

We made the best of it though, we went to parks and had picnics....

Stayed overnight in Chicago.... (what a sight! 6 kids under 6, right in the middle of downtown Chicago, they must have thought a daycare was having an outing.)

Maya and Maren are only a few months apart, someday they'll be college roommates... I'm sure of it.

Next post... sisters weekend!

Love the photos, looks like a good time was had by all--even in the cold! The picture of Maya and Maren is precious.
