Two...

Careful! The french fries are hot! He doesn't seem to care...

So my newborn is two today... I just want to freeze him like this forever, I can't get enough of Henry, I've never met a happier baby. Sure, he has his 'moments' like every two year old does, but by far he's so easy going and adaptable, which is important for a third child! Some things I want to remember about Henry today are:

*Henry's favorite food is french fries! I took him to McD's today for lunch and he was in heaven. He also loves chicken nuggets, any fruit, NO vegetables (well, he does love artichokes), Nutella sandwiches and lots of milk.

*Henry can ride a Razor scooter like a big boy, he has great balance, just like Harrison

*He loves his uncles! Nate, Aaron, Jared & Rob. If he knew the other ones, I'm sure he would love them too. It just hurt my heart a little bit to type that. Living away from my side of the family is hard!

*He's such a BOY, he loves to throw and kick balls, push trucks, play in the dirt and hang out in the garage with dad.

*We had to take his crib down a few weeks ago, he kept climbing out and sneaking into Maya's bed. Now he has a big boy bed and a lock on his door.

*A few of my favorite phrases he says...
-Mama did it! (blaming anything and everything on me, toots, messes, spills, etc.)
-Where Daddy is? Oh, at work!
-Go bye bye in the car? See Gramma's house?
-Go see Maya's bus?

*He refers to any and all fire as "Happy Birthday" probably since every time we sing Happy birthday a candle is lit. A few weeks ago I was making pasta for dinner and as I was pouring the noodles into the water, one fell into the gas flame under the pot without me noticing. Then Henry started singing Happy Birthday and I looked up at the pot to see the noodle on fire!

We love you dearly Henry, please stay sweet!!

Happy birthday to that handsome little man! I can't wait to see this kiddo in action in a few months...you will have to bring a scooter with you so he can show off his skills!
