Maybe he'll change his mind....

Baseball was always the sport of choice at my house growing up. All 3 of my brothers played baseball, my dad coached and my youngest brother even went on to play college ball. In the summer you could guarantee if we weren't at a ball game, there was one on the TV, it was just a way of life in our house. It kept my brothers out of trouble during their teen years and I've always thought baseball was going to be the sport of choice in our house as well.  Now that Harrison is getting old enough to play T ball, I've been looking around at some park district teams to put him on.  Of course I never mentioned my intentions to Harrison, I just assumed he would love baseball just like my brothers did. Yesterday I saw a little neighbor boy wearing a baseball hat and casually mentioned to Harrison that maybe we should get a baseball hat for him to wear. His response caught me off guard:

"Mom, I will NEVER play baseball. I will race motorcycles and big trucks and that. is. it. NO baseball."

Then I died a little inside, because when Harrison says something, he means it.

The end.
(sorry dad, I tried)
