This evening we braved the 95 degree temps and mosquitos to hit the lake for a bit of fishing.
Well, Tadd & the kids did, I sat safely on the shore swatting at mosquitos and trying to keep cool (rather ineffectively, on both counts, I might add).
He only got his line stuck in the lily pad a few times...
Then, the sun set and the fish weren't biting any better, but it sure was cooler!
Still casting! I just love these sunset silhouette photos...
Now, we're all home, safe, bathed, fed and tucked into bed. What a nice end to a hot summer day.

Those pictures are DARLING...Harrison looks so determined! And I love that he is in waste deep, and doll!
I meant to say waist...not waste, there is obviously no "waste" to be seen :)
It may sound unbelievable but I miss that lake...it's so quiet and peaceful...
I caught you a delicious bass ; p
I loved the pictures ... Amber you really have an artists eye..
Harrison in the water is my favorite.. It would make a great painting..
Making Nana a little nervous. If Nana is nervous Harrison must be having a great time! Great photos Amber.
