Fishing for Bass

This evening we braved the 95 degree temps and mosquitos to hit the lake for a bit of fishing.
Well, Tadd & the kids did, I sat safely on the shore swatting at mosquitos and trying to keep cool (rather ineffectively, on both counts, I might add).

Harrison was the most enthusiastic, though no fish were actually caught, lots of casting practice was had, Harrison casts like a pro now!

He only got his line stuck in the lily pad a few times...

Then, the sun set and the fish weren't biting any better, but it sure was cooler!

Still casting! I just love these sunset silhouette photos...

Now, we're all home, safe, bathed, fed and tucked into bed. What a nice end to a hot summer day.

Those pictures are DARLING...Harrison looks so determined! And I love that he is in waste deep, and doll!

I meant to say waist...not waste, there is obviously no "waste" to be seen :)
