Kindergarten Graduation

Today was Maya's kindergarten graduation. This was a new experience for me, when I was growing up, the only graduation we celebrated was high school graduation, but here it seems like people make a big deal out of kindergarten, 8th grade and high school graduation. Other parents showed up to kindergarten graduation with balloons, flowers, presents etc!  Does anyone NOT graduate from kindergarten? Don't answer that.... actually I know a few people that repeated kindergarten. Anyway, Maya passed with flying colors, on to first grade in 10 short weeks!!

The best part was the ice cream party afterwards...

And Grandma Mary came! Maya got to go home with Grandma and have a date... without Harrison! She was thrilled.
