I've been so ready for summer to be OVER. I needed the fall season to start, I've been ready to move on, and the change in weather has been so wonderful.
In the meantime, the kids discovered a new love.....
Sweet, ripe peaches! Harrison in particular would eat them until he was sick if I let him! Oh how I miss sweet Utah peaches. They don't grow peaches around here and when I find some good ones at a farmers market imported from Michigan, I buy all they have!

Amen to the peaches. We bought some nectarines today. Probably some of the last good ones of the season. But, juicy, crisp apples are the fruit that I really enjoy eating straight from the tree. The family apple picking outing of the year is coming right up! Can't wait!
I had the most delicious peach cobbler (w/vanilla ice cream), last night. My neighbor made it & it really made me happy!!!
Love the photos--what a beautiful blue sky. Great backdrop for my sweet grandkids. Fresh peach shakes are at TA for 7 more days. So close.
Yummmmmm They make it look so good... Grandma's just cut them up and sprinkle sugar on them.... Boring !!
