Enjoy the silence
I'm sitting here in front of my computer, already breaking one of my "rules". You see, I just dropped Maya and Harrison off at preschool after a painfully long (5 months!) break. Henry is sleeping peacefully in his crib, and here I sit, with a mountain of laundry at my feet, and I couldn't be happier to have a whole pile of laundry and a quiet house. I promised myself that when I had this quiet time, I would not squander it away in front of a blinking computer screen, so off I go, to enjoy the silence.

Oh, I hear you. My boys are off for 7 hours a day. Whenever Janey takes a nap, I try to take one, but I blog instead. Sad.
Oh yes, and they are only a couple weeks apart. Jane was born May 6.
It is amazing how different everything feels when even one child is gone for a few hours. Hope you enjoyed it.
