I'm guest posting at my dear mom's blog today. She had some major back surgery and isn't up to completing her Tuesday's with Dorie cooking assignments. I love any excuse to bake treats, so I was happy to jump in and take over.
When I first saw these I thought they were my mothers chocolate surprise cookies....They were similar but with chocolate wafers hidden in side..Don't know if they even make chocolate wafers anymore but the cookies made me nostalgic...

They do look yummy... but now I need the recipe... I didn't see it on your Mom's blog either...
