FIVE

My sweet Harrison turned 5 yesterday, we celebrated in grand fashion and had his closest 15 friends over for a marathon swim/waterballoon/squirt gun/pinata/sugar fest. It was fantastic....

Waiting for the guests to arrive...

Super Dad took the day off work to help with the festivities...

We decorated cupcakes....

Did belly flops...

And generally had a grand time....

Harrison's wish was to light his own candle.... Wish, granted.

A few things I want to remember about Harrison at this tender age of 5....

He loves his family, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins...

He loves fishing, guns and fire. Not in that order.

He has a tender heart, but you would never know it.

He never stops, unless he's watching Spongebob.

He loves to squirt people with water. If he has his hands on a hose and you are in range, consider yourself warned.

His favorite food is fresh homemade bread slathered with Nutella.

He loves swim lessons and is ready and in the car every morning without prompting.

He hates chores, it's like pulling teeth to get him to do chores, unless it's his idea, then he's the most helpful kid you'll ever meet.

He's shy around new people.

I love him more every day, he's my greatest joy and my greatest challenge all rolled into one (I wouldn't have it any other way)

I love you Harrison!!

Happy Birthday Harrison!! It looks like the party was a big hit. I love the picture of maya belly flopping in the pool...so fun!

Harrison and Jack seem A LOT alike...that list you made could be applied almost directly to jack, except jack likes his homemade bread slathered with butter :)

We miss you buddy!
