Garden update...

Well, our plants have been in the ground 3 weeks now, despite the cool rainy weather,  it seems our thumbs may just be green afterall..

Zucchini... These plants are doing the best, they're huge!

My favorite part of the garden... my herbs! I have parsley, sage, tarragon, greek oregano, rosemary, chives, basil and cilantro...

Red bell pepper.... I have 2 of these.

Oops, the garlic didn't come up like I hoped (I guess that's what I get for buying my bulbs on the clearance rack at Lowe's)

Well Hello there! This lettuce made a surprise appearance.... Sort of hijacked my pea pot.

We got a cutting of rhubarb from my sister in law Marcia... I wish it would hurry and grow, I love rhubarb!

Tadd planted peas all over the yard, some in the ground and some in planters. Turns out we have a naughty little bunny that lives under our air conditioner unit. He loves peas too!

These peas are out of reach of the bunny, we're mere days away from a bumper crop.

Jalapeno.... we have about 9 of these plants, and they all have lots of flowers. Not quite sure what I'll do with them all....

Tomatoes are doing great, they need some heat!  I think we have 12 plants.

Look! We have a tomato already. I can't tell you how happy I am about this!

Eggplant.... we just have one of these...

and lastly.... Shallots!! I really love to cook with shallots, so I'm super excited about these.

There you have it!

Pea green jealous. Oh, I'll miss not having a garden this season... I guess I'll try and comfort myself with the view from my new house in Italy...

Nice work! I am looking forward to more photos throughout the summer. I need to check on my garden. We had a nasty hail storm this afternoon that may have wiped it out!
