Strawberry picking 09

I remember 2 years ago when I was feeling  particularly ambitions and we picked/purchased 10 of these..... They are 4 quart baskets.

What was I thinking??

We're still eating the jam I made from all those.....

This year between whiny kids and a fed up dad, we only picked three. It still equals almost 15 pounds of berries though. I'm going to freeze them for smoothies. 

 Well, Henry is turning out to be a human strawberry vacuum, so whatever is left when he's done will be frozen for smoothies.
