(not so) Lazy Sunday

After coming home late on Saturday night and waking up a few times in the night with Henry, I woke up Sunday morning with the first migraine headache I've had in about 15 months. Luckily I had some old fioracet lying around and after I downed a few of those I was feeling a bit better. I forgot how much I detest migraines, I felt a bit nasty all day and Tadd was down with the flu. So guess who cleaned the house and guess who got to sleep until noon. (Hint, the person with the migraine was NOT the person that got to sleep until noon). So why was I cleaning my house and not wallowing in filth like I would normally do any other Sunday? Glad you asked! My good friend Bryan was in town visiting from San Francisco and was stopping by our house for dinner. Bryan and I go waaaaay back, I think I met him my Sophomore year in high school, and we've been friends ever since. Bryan is sufficiently cool enough to make me feel like a frump mom a million times over, but he'd never admit it, and in fact probably doesn't believe it himself. Harrison asked him if he would stay "for long days" and Maya crooned that his name should not be Bryan, but should in fact be "Heaven". I don't know where she comes up with these things... that girl.

We wanted to show Bryan around a little bit, so we took a drive to the bog. No, really! A real live bog. It was awesome, don't believe me? Here you go....
