Henry James is applying for the open position of the family's resident 5 month old.
Strengths include sleeping through the night, smiling continuously even when faced with adversity and putting on a brave front when in danger. (I'm talking about YOU Harrison). Strengths also include commanding a large audience of admiring 13 year olds at church and engaging in flirting with checkers at Super Walmart.
Newly acquired skills include repetitive consonant sounds, including but not limited to ba ba ba and ma ma ma, rolling from front to back and back to front. Standing upright for periods of time in exersaucer and blowing (rather wet) raspberries.
Weaknesses are minor, and may include: Pinching small amounts of skin on the back of parental necks, pulling curly haired pig tails, not crying loud enough when being sat on by resident 3 year old and holding bowels for extended periods of time, resulting in mounds of soiled laundry upon job completion.
Sorry to all those with openings, we've hired him.

If I had an opening for a 5 month old, I'd try and woooo him away from you. Alas, we have no such opening.
we are currently fully staffed in the springer household, but I'll let you know if we have any openings! What a doll.
Are you sure he would not be available even if I wrote a very convincing job description??? He is too cute!
I get first choice!! He is beautiful or handsome, but I really think he is a beautiful baby!!
What a sweetie... Since he doesn't have a "sassy name" How about "Sweet and Sassy"
or "Anything but Sassy..."
Amber I am so glad to see your blog it's so fun....and makes your family so close I can almost touch you. You are really a gifted writer and photographer..
Sorry I just went back and noticed he already has a "sassy name"
I was giving Harrison credit for being UN sassy.
Amber-I love your pictures, they always look so crisp!
I found your blog again! I'm kind of slow but I couldn't figure out why your blog link wouldn't work. Your new blog is very fun. Henry's a little doll, and so are the other two.
What a cutie! He is a darling baby! In response to your question...It is legal in Wyoming to shoot ground squirrels, but I don't think it is legal in most states. I know it's not in Utah. This came as a disappointment to Dan. :)
I need some cute baby cheeks to pinch around here, are you sure he isn't available for a temp position? You would get him back eventually ;)
Beautiful pictures! So, um, did we have babies at exactly the same time? I currently have a 5-month-old in a position in my home. He is just darling.
