Laugh, definitely laugh. In fact laugh so hard tears roll down your cheeks and you're gasping for breath. At least that's what I did, but he's my nephew, so I'm entitled.

Ya wanna laugh... but I have baggage. See, Dave did something very similar... To Amanda... when she was three... But only to the back of her head... I was so mad, but wouldn't let him shave her bald. Kids came up to us at Church and asked us whey we did that to our little girl. I couldn't laugh about it for a long time....
Thanks for giving my day a good chuckle :-) If it were me, I would probably cry and then laugh, and pray his hair grows quickly. But at least he's a boy and can get away w/ it a little easier than girls can!
