Notice anything unusual about this picture? What? Harrison in UNDERPANTS instead of diapers? When we got back from Utah last week I told Harrison he was going to be done with diapers. He begged and protested saying “but MOM, I LIKE to poop in my diaper” and threatening me with things like “I’m going to poop in my diaper FOREVER and a day.”
Guess what Harrison? I’m bigger and smarter than you, so you WILL be potty trained. He has been ready for awhile now, but I didn’t want to be potty training during a 2 day road trip, so I held off. Fast forward a week and I’m pleased to say that Harrison has done a fantastic job. Only one accident to speak of, and he even wakes up dry in the morning. He takes himself to the potty, I don’t even have to ask him. Only one embarrassing moment of the whole process; Last week we saw one of my college professors at the local farmers market. I really respect this professor, I had taken several classes with him and he had done a few letters of recommendations for me for different things. As I was chatting with this professor and catching up, Harrison blurts out "HEY! You know what!! I POOP in the potty!!" Ahem.... Thank you Harrison.

Isn't it so much fun to potty train ;) Jeramie is trained now but it took alot of bribes (as you will see in a later post in my blog). Tell Harrison that it is cool to go poop in the potty, everybody's doing it!
