Harrison is pretty easy to please when it comes to food. He's not too picky and he usually eats whatever I put in front of him. He doesn't mind peppers, onions, mushrooms or many other food that usually have the ick factor for kids. That being said, he usually doesn't make meal requests either. So today when he sweetly asked me to make pizza for dinner, I couldn't say no. I really wanted to make something quick and easy (and cool!) for dinner, since it was 90 outside and I didn't relish the thought of being in the kitchen for a few hours. Our kitchen is west facing, and cooking at that time of the day is particularly hot. Especially cooking pizza, which requires a 525 degree oven, and the pizza stone needs to preheat at that temperature for 30 minutes! Of course Harrison got his request and I had a nice time with him, grinding wheat, mixing dough, making sauce and chopping toppings (which he helped with, using a REAL knife, much to his satisfaction). What would pizza be without "spicy water" a favorite drink of our family. Harrison loves this stuff and I let him have it on occasion in place of soda.

Mmmmm...wish we were there! Harrison is lucky to have such a great Mommy to make pizza, and I bet Dad made the spicy water!
Yea! I am so happy you have another blog! Your pictures look great and I especially love the one of "The Original Sassy"!
